About

A two-paragraph bio.

You could say I’m lucky, not only to have spent the last decade touring the world mixing for some of music’s most renown acts, but also for the opportunity that life gave me of building a career out of a dream. Truth is, from a very early age, I was aware of my talent and a relentless passion for drums, music, and gear, and I worked hard for it ever since. In fact, when I was still a kid in my hometown of Cali, Colombia, I was introduced to the world of audio by working backstage in my family's sound rental company.

Life's twists and turns brought me to Miami, Florida where right out of high school, I decided to take the difficult but rewarding path of self-education and hard work. I took on any sound job I could get, ranging from tech-ing at regional event production companies, houses of worship and theaters to greasy dive bars and recording studios. I cut my teeth, learned the craft and worked tirelessly until got a chance to get behind a board and eventually go out on my first tour. I've since gone around the world a couple times and moved to Los Angeles where I met the love of my life, started a family and had the chance to continue to further my career in mixing and audio engineering, both on the road and in the studio.
